During pregnancy, we would only recommend a multivitamin supplement specially formulated for pregnancy, such as Pregnacare^® . Pregnacare^® (from Vitabiotics) contains a careful combination of 17 vitamins and minerals, specially developed for use from before conception, throughout the whole of pregnancy, and also whilst breast-feeding. However, if required, Perfectil^® may be used after breast-feeding, instead of Pregnacare^® , as this is a time when skin and hair may need extra nutritional help to assist their recovery. [Top]
 

Generally, Perfectil^® may be used along-side medications because it contains only moderate levels of vitamins and minerals, and it is free of any drugs or hormones. One tablet per day is recommended with your main meal. Swallow with a full glass of water or a cold drink. Taking the tablet with a large meal maximises the absorption of the nutrients, and can reduce nausea, which is sometimes experienced if multivitamins are taken on an empty stomach. Perfectil^® should only be taken on a full stomach. Always ensure that Perfectil^® is taken with plenty of liquid to wash the tablet down, and not tea or coffee as this may cause the tablet to disintegrate too early. [Top]

Results vary amongst individuals, but in most cases we would expect the beneficial effects of the vitamins and minerals in Perfectil^® to build over several weeks, with noticeable results in one to three months.
